Craig Allen Michaelson

Craig Allen Michaelson passed away on Tuesday, August 4th, 2026, at his residence at 43 years old. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Craig Allen Michaelson was born on September 23, 1982, in Alexandria, Minnesota, to Owen and Carol (Berg) Michaelson. He grew up with three siblings in Osakis and attended Osakis Public School.

Throughout his life, Craig worked a variety of jobs, spending the greatest part of his career at NAPA in Osakis. He was a naturally hands-on person who enjoyed working with his hands and figuring out how things worked. Craig had a way of looking at a problem and finding a solution, often accomplishing things others might have thought impossible. He was truly a man of many trades and mastered more of them than most. He spent most of his spare time working on vehicles, tackling projects, or simply enjoying the outdoors, especially on his motorcycle.

Craig also enjoyed helping others and was always willing to use his knowledge and talents to lend a hand when something needed fixing. He will be remembered for his resourcefulness, determination, and sarcastic wit, which was a memorable part of his personality and brought laughter to those who knew him best.

Craig Allen Michaelson passed away on August 4, 2026, due to complications from Type 1 diabetes. He is survived by his parents, Owen and Carol Michaelson; sisters, Crystal Michaelson and her son, Ian, and Caitlyn (Cody) Duguay and their son, Jameson; brother, Curtis Michaelson; uncles, Ron (Vianne) Berg and Wayne Michaelson; and cousins, Erin, Morgan, Josh, and Mariah. Craig was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Aven and Kathy Berg; paternal grandparents, Stan and Glenda Michaelson; and uncle, Aaron Michaelson.
