Crystal Rivera

Crystal A. Rivera of Smith Lake courageously lost her battle with cancer surrounded by family on Nov. 19, 2008 at the age of 45.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Lawrence & Rose Robertson and Claude & Edna Miller; a brother, John R. Miller.
Crystal is survived by a daughter, Jennifer (Pete) Olson and grandson, Nathan Olson; the love of her life, Al Hendricks, and his daughters, Lori (Joe) Bechtel, Angela (Shannon) Zimmerman, Amanda (Jayme) Lemere; her mother, Marlene (Ron) Ableiter and her father, G. Gary (Sandy) Miller; seven brothers, two sisters and many relatives and friends.
Crystal and Al came to the Smith Lake area ten years ago and Crystal immediately fell in love with the lakes area. She loved fishing, knitting and crossword puzzles and just relaxing at the lake. Crystal will always be remembered for her positive attitude, her strength, energy and fun-loving personality.
Funeral services will be held for Crystal on Saturday, November 29 at 1:00 pm at the Roy-Hetland Funeral Chapel in Osakis, MN. Visitation hours are on Saturday from 11:00 - 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Interment is at the Nelson Cemetery in Nelson, MN
