Dorothy H. Hedlof

Dorothy Hedlof of rural Nelson died unexpectedly on March 25, 2024. She was born April 3, 1943, to Hazel and Harold Drum in rural Garfield, MN. After high school she married Richard Hedlof and lived on a farm near Nelson.

She is preceded in death by her husband Richard Hedlof, her parents and siblings.

She is survived by her 3 children: Jerry (Grace) Hedlof, Dean (Linda) Hedlof, Tracie Hedlof (Brian Dietz), one grandchild and many step-grandchildren.

Dorothy enjoyed spending time with all the animals on the farm, especially her house cat Rory. Who always could put a smile on her face and brightened every day.

She enjoyed spending time outside tending to her flowers and enjoying the fresh air and sunshine during the summer months.

A small family service will be held Tuesday April 2, 2024, at the Roy-Hetland Funeral Home in Osakis. Interment will be at Fahlun Church Cemetery.
