Life History for Gail Najarian
Gail Najarian, age 65 of Osakis, formerly of Minneapolis, MN passed away on Sunday, Oct. 6, 2013 at her home surrounded by her loved ones.
Gail was born on July 15, 1948 in Warren, MN to Earl and Dolly (Amacher) Heddan. She moved to Minneapolis in 1957 and to the Lake Osakis in 2002. She was an employee of Allina Health for many years. Gail was a member of both the Crystal and the Osakis VFW Auxiliaries. She had many interests including, sewing, golfing, fishing, bowling, canning, traveling, playing softball, cards and cheering for the MN Vikings. She especially enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Gail loved country living and had a passion for life. She touched many lives with her big heart and will leave a huge void with those who loved her.
She is survived by her daughter, Temple Porter and son, Jon Porter, both of St. Michael, MN; a granddaughter, Jenna Porter; fiancAC., Tom Kaasa of Osakis; a brother, Michael (Cheryl) Heddan of Osakis; two sisters, Judy (Greg) Brozyna of St. Michael, Jan Heddan of Brooklyn Park; many friends and relatives.
Preceding her in death are her parents and husband, Robert C. Najarian.
A memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013 at 10:30 am at the Roy-Hetland Funeral Home in Osakis with Rev. Don Reisig officiating. Visitation begins at 9:30 am at the funeral home. A reception will follow at the Osakis Community Hall.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
