FUNERAL NOTICE FOR IREL BOE
Irel Boe, age 77 of rural Long Prairie passed away on Sunday, April 19 at his home. Memorial services will be held on Thursday, April 23 at 4 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Sauk Centre, MN.
Everyone is invited to join the family at the Sauk Centre Senior Center following the service.

Life History for Irel Boe
Irel Boe, age 77 of rural Long Prairie died at his home on Sunday, April 19, 2009.
Irel Lyle Boe was born on June 1, 1931 in Minneapolis, MN to Clarence and Selma (Jacobson) Boe. He was baptized in March of 1956. Irel worked in manufacturing for over thirty years for the Honeywell Corporation. He married Beverly McBride on October 14, 1972 in Mound, MN. Upon retirement from Honeywell in 1979, the Boe's moved to a home in rural Long Prairie, MN.
Irel was a member of the Local 1145 Union and belonged to the Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah's Witnesses in Sauk Centre, MN. He loved to do carpentry work and back yard mechanics. Wintertime activities included going ice fishing, hunting and watching football. He also enjoyed gardening and doing yard work.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly Boe of Long Prairie; children, Michael (Marilyn) Boe of Detroit Lakes, Jon Randy (Dawn) Boe of Minneapolis, Rebecca Boe of Apple Valley, Christopher Boe of Shakopee and Tim Boe of Moorhead; 4 grandchildren, Scott, Payton, Jessica and Heather; 5 great grandchildren; a sister, Inez Burris of Cook, MN.
Preceding him in death are his parents, a grandson, Tyler Boe and daughter-in-law, Marsha Boe; a brother, James Boe and a sister, Carol Valentine.
Memorial services were held on Thursday afternoon at 4 pm at the Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah's Witnesses in Sauk Centre with Bob Brophy officiating. A luncheon was held following the service at the Sauk Centre Senior Center in Sauk Centre, MN.
