June Ringling

June Beatrice West was born on June 16, 1934 in Spooner, MN to James and Elsie (Norman) West. She graduated from Williams High School. On April 15, 1955 she married Donald Ringling. She worked at a bank in Warroad, MN. Donald and June had four children. They lived in various locations over the years, such as Sioux Falls, SD, Oklahoma City, OK, several suburbs of Minneapolis, MN, Evansville, IN, Cudahy, WI and finally in Thief River Falls, MN. They resided in Thief River for over 30 years. After their retirement, they spent their winters in Sierra Vista, AZ. In 2005 the Ringlings moved to Alexandria, MN.
June enjoyed working on family histories, quilting and crafting, gardening and traveling. She also used to teach Sunday School for many years. June passed away Nov. 3, 2008 at the Melrose Area Hosptial, Melrose, MN. Blessed be her memory.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Ringling of Alexandria; children, Debra Crow of Washington, Richard (Linda) Ringling of Austin, MN, Cindy Ringling of Alexandria, MN and Lisa Ringling of Florida; her grandchildren, Randi, Misty, Crystal, Dakota, Anthony, Kristina, Raey, Amanda, Karianna, Jason and Alexander; great, grandchildren, Amy, Zac, cristy, Joshua, Anthony, Aden, Sydney, Raey and Dylan.
Preceding her in death are her parents, 5 sisters and 3 brothers.
