Lloyd Bruce Jonas

LLoyd "Bruce" Jonas, 83 passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 3, 2023, at Galeon Community Memorial Home in Osakis, MN.  Bruce was born in Kansas City MO to Parents Orville and Sarah L. Jonas on February 9th,1940.  He served our country as a U.S. Marine, and was honorably discharged on XXXXXXXX. He had two older brothers, Lee E. Jonas and Donald W. Jonas. Bruce was a skilled craftsman.  He worked primarily as a general contractor/home builder in and around Kansas City, until his retirement, when he moved to Osakis.  Bruce spent his retirement taking on an occasional construction job and loved to fish.  He is survived by his longtime life companion June Withers (Osakis MN); Son, Rodney D Jonas and Stephanie Jonas (North Carolina); Granddaughter, Brooke A. Carter & Chad S. Carter (S. Carolina) with 2 Great Grand Children Maxwell J. Carter and Danielle L. Carter.

Arrangements were handled by Roy-Hetlund Funeral Home in Osakis. Bruce requested no wake or funeral service.  Condolences may be sent to 111 E 9th Ave., Osakis, MN  56360.
