Margaret Webster

d. March 16, 2009

Margaret Caroline Anderson was born on October 6, 1918, during the influenza epidemic, at home on a farm in Gordon Township near Osakis, Minnesota. Margaret Attended country school and then went on to graduate from Osakis Public High School in 1936. During the WWII she worked for Ford Motor Company and met her husband after he returned from serving in the Navy. "Bud" was her best friend, love of her life and her true soul-mate. During her first years of marriage she worked for Proctor Gamble before moving to Orlando Florida. In Orlando, she worked for a couple of different companies as the Head Line-Leader building short-wave radios. She was responsible for training other employees and ordering all the parts. She ended her career at Repco. Muggs, as she was affectionately called, lived in Orlando on lake shore property. Her and her husband enjoyed swimming, boating and water-skiing. Margaret was also known as a brave adventurer as she helped her husband with the first solo flights of aircraft that he refurbished. When Margaret's husband died, she continued to live in Florida for several years. During that time, Muggs enjoyed watching her great niece, Sarah and she anxiously awaited visits from her son, Darryl, and his family. Margaret got to know Disney World (better than she wanted to) when she took many family members for visits. She also enjoyed endless hours of card games and board games with her family. Margaret lived with her sister-in-law, Irene, in Arizona until she suffered her first stroke. She then moved back to her home town, Osakis, to live with her niece, Joan. In the end, Margaret lived in the Osakis nursing home. The Galeon's staff spoiled her with the love and care that a small town, top of the line care center could provide. Margaret died at the young age of 90 on March 15, 2009 at 1:20 p.m. Margaret will be missed and loved by the many hearts she touched so lovingly throughout her life.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Andrew G. Anderson, husband, Harry L. Webster, grandson, Daniel Webster, sisters and brothers, Arthur, Lewis, Evelyn and Clarence and niece Myrna, nephews, Bradley and Gordon.
She is survived by her stepsons, Darryl (Laura) Webster and Dennis Webster; grandchildren, Kelly (Kris) Norman, Greg Webster, Denny and Jenny Webster; great grandchildren, Kiera and Kabre Norman, Tristen Webster; nieces and nephews, Joan Aasboe, Shirley Ramse, Betty, Mike, Andy, Cullen, Marty and Clay.
