Tanya Stoetzel, age 37, formerly of Osakis and the daughter of Leo and Sue Stoetzel of Osakis died unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 29 at her home in Nelson, MN.
Tanya Marie was born on June 4, 1973 in Alexandria, MN to Leo and Sue (Robinson) Stoetzel. She was a graduate of Osakis High School with the Class of 1991. After high school, she continued her education at Alexandria Technical College and received a degree in Sales and Marketing. She held numerous retail sales and marketing positions throughout the Alexandria area over the past years. Tanya was engaged to be married to Ryan Triebenbach of Nelson. They enjoyed motorcycling and Tanya served as the secretary for the area A.B.A.T.E. motorcycle organization. Taking long bike rides throughout the state was a hobby they both enjoyed. In addition to riding motorcycle, Tanya also found joy in her pet kittens, rabbits and fish aquarium. She was a regular dart player and also enjoyed music and bands.
Tanya is survived by her parents, Leo and Sue Stoetzel of Osakis; her fiance', Ryan Triebenbach of Nelson; two brothers, Chris (Rita) Stoetzel of Osakis and Damon Stoetzel of Glenwood; a sister, Theresa 'Teri' (Dale) Eurele of Villard; 5 nephews and a niece; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her grandparents.
Funeral services will be held for Tanya on Monday, July 5, 2010 at 2:00 pm at the Immaculate Conception Church in Osakis with Fr. David Petron officiating. Interment is at the West Evergreen Cemetery in Osakis with honorary pallbearers, Mitch and Mike Rasmusen, Rodney & Chad Flynn, Scott Rice, Jim Massmann, Shane & Rory Robinson. Active pallbearers were her niece and nephews, Tyler and Travis Euerle, Derek, Nicole, Darrin and Triston Stoetzel.
