Jack B. Ketelle, age 66, of Osakis died unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 12, 2020, in his home.
A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, February 19, 2020, at First Presbyterian Church in Osakis with Rev. Randy Knuth officiating. Music is provided by organist, Ellen Bangtson. Interment is at Nelson Cemetery, Nelson.
Visitation is one hour prior to the service at the church.
Jack Bryce was born on August 30, 1953, to Bryce and Eleanor (Svor) Ketelle in Osakis. He attended Osakis High School where he played right tackle on the football team and graduated in 1971. Following his education, Jack began working with Morton Buildings Company. During his career, he was transferred several times with his last transfer bringing him to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Jack retired after 44 years with Morton Buildings and returned to his hometown of Osakis, where he built a home on his parent’s land. He was a lifetime member of the NRA. Jack enjoyed working in his wood shop, was a firearm enthusiast, and greatly enjoyed visiting with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Jack is survived by his daughter, Casey (Matthew) Barnes of McSherrystown, Pennsylvania; sister, Debbie (Tom) Heinzel of Albany; his first grandchild, a boy due in May; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
